YES!!
you can make a lot of money.
and alot of people pay other people from 30 threw 80 dollers just for mowing a lawn. but you can do that for half price and have so much money and buisness youll never ever have to ask your parents for money. or you can do a little sceam saying you dont have any money or not enough. that business isnt good. and they’ll give tou more money. then youll have some more dough for spending!

Mowing lawns is more than a good way to make money: many successful people of good character have begun their adult lives mowing lawns. You must be prepared to stand behind your word. If you put up fliers and, essentially, contract with people to show up on X day at X time, to mow this much space and cause no harm, all at this cost, then you must do it. If you do it well, you will find people coming out of the woodwork later on to give you good references for jobs, get you into the service academy, give you a reference for your masters’ program, etc. People respect young men who perform up to their word. Since you are displaying ambition and an aptitude for business, you may even find that they are coming to you and offering you other, bigger, better-paying jobs, now or later in life.

Therefore, before starting, it helps that you make a good assessment of your capabilities: How much time do you have to devote to this? How many jobs can you take on? How much will you charge? How do you expect to collect your money? How will you handle complaints? Consider things even as basic as how can they contact you, and how promptly will you be able to get back to them? If you have a good relationship with your dad or some other adult, don’t hesitate to consult them on this. They’ll appreciate you and respect you for recognizing that their greater experience can help you out.

i mean i did the lawn thing at that age too, its intense and you will be dealing with other people that might do their own thing to mess with you (one time a lady decided to cut part of her lawn herself and drop my pay by a ridiculous amount and it kept getting worst until i cut HER out of my itinerary..haha) if youre good with dealing with stingy adults and dont mind working the fields in the heat and also dont mind having to cut lawns that might have dog C*** all over it and the like...go for it, o and it often doesnt pay too well for what you do.

It is the best way for someone your age to make money. If you get a decent amount of business, and you work for a year, you should have a nice amount of money. Sounds like a good fill in job until you can get an "on the books" job.
